Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: blender

When I try to render scene Blender 2.49b writes message: "do_wait:
drmWaitVBlank returned -1, IRQs don't seem to be working correctly. Try
adjusting the vblank_mode configuration parameter.".

If the scene is simple, has few meshes, rendering passes, despite the error
message.

If the scene has a large number of objects, Blender crashing with the following
error:
X Error of failed request: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 136 (DRI2)
Minor opcode of failed request: 6 (DRI2CopyRegion)
Resource id in failed request: 0x200019b
Serial number of failed request: 14249
Current serial number in output stream: 14249
