I can confirm this. VMWare host is 7.04 Kubuntu, VMWare guests are various Linux and Windows versions. All have the aforementioned problem of being unable to ssh from/to host <-> guest, or complete any TCP connection. (Well, the connection seems to be established, but nothing else seems to happen).
