Well, I'm certainly scratching my head on this one.  The log shows a
completely normal startup.  The greeter correctly forks, but when it
comes to fork the session it fails.  I'll ask you to see if it
reproduces on 0.4.0, but I can't see any reason why it should behave
differently.

Taking the error code from fork() literally.  Is there any chance this
device has run out of memory?   I was looking in the log in case LightDM
leaked memory massively before the fork call, but I can't see any
evidence of that.

If someone else is getting the same problem, please post here your setup
to shed some light on this.
