@paul: Ok, after reading bug #727733 I realised I've been out of the loop. My preference was for Ubuntu Mono Beta 21 but I understand why this wasn't the chosen one.
I'm currently trying: 79 lines with "-unknown-UbuntuBeta Mono-normal-normal-*-13-*-*-*-*-0-iso10646-1" It's a bit small and less pleasing than Beta 21, but still good enough for daily use (did I mention I love this font ?). I wish there was an easy way to override some simple setting to reduce the line spacing. I fully understand this may get ugly if I ever try to display accented capitals but since I almost never encounter this case I don't really care ;) Unless you tell me there could be such a trick, I'll leave it at that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/791076 Title: Emacs: choosing normal monospace font in Emacs but gives bold-italic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/emacs/+bug/791076/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
