Dapper, all up to date.
No matter what preset= I set (say medium, 128, 112 for a given input I
always end up with *exactly* same big 160 kb/s audio, eg.:
$ mplayer frameno.avi

While I requested 128 kb/s:
$ mencoder dvd://2 -ss 21 -alang fr -oac mp3lame -lameopts preset=128
