David, Yesterday, I tested files from ppa:diwic/ppa and it solved the problem with metallic sound on my system. Changing volume, or Balance, Fade or Subwoofer settings in Sound Preferences/Output works as expected. THANKS!
Just one question: can I somehow download all current files from ppa, just in case some future change breaks my system?
