There are some things related to this bug too. And mostly the libwnck bug which doesn't allow us to get the proper WM_CLASS resource name (but just the class name itself) [1]. Due to that bug, I also made chromium badly implement the ICCCM standard, asking them to switch the res_name and the class_name (sorry, but it was the only way to get the relevant value using libwnck).
