Binary package hint: gnome-cups-manager
I downloaded and installed driver for lexmark c522n color laser network printer
by executing the install script and added printer to foomatic-db. The installer
asked for language and encoding, I used german and utf-8.
After that I tried to add the printer. It was automatically detected but after
finishing the dialogs, no printer was added. i tried that several times, also
with ip-adress, name and different protocols (the c522n supports nearly all of
them). No printer added, no errors in the syslog.
Then I use the hpijs driver, which works well but only b/w. No success
with the lexmark driver
