Public bug reported: Unfortunately I got few information about this bug, and even if it resembles other known bugs, all the procedure for the fixing didn't work for me.
After suspension, all kinds of audio sources don't work: youtube, amarok, midis on timidity, audio cds etc. I tried to use the command lines "pulseaudio -k" or "killall pulseaudio" but nothing changed. when I tried "pulseaudio -D" bash reported me (in italian) "avvio del demone non riuscito" that means "demon's launch failed". I asked a question on launchpad about that but nobody answered me. see my question here https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+question/162281 where I associated my problem to bug #222428. I'm using a Redwood HDMI audio (Radeon HD 5600 series) on natty narwhal 11.04. and pulseaudio: Installato: 1:0.9.22+stable-queue-24-g67d18-0ubuntu3.1 Candidato: 1:0.9.22+stable-queue-24-g67d18-0ubuntu3.1 Tabella versione: *** 1:0.9.22+stable-queue-24-g67d18-0ubuntu3.1 0 500 http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-updates/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:0.9.22+stable-queue-24-g67d18-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main amd64 Packages I was expecting to resume audio after suspension or reboot, but still it is not working. please consider I am a newbie so please try to explain all the steps I should follow.
