klerfayt, Actually, I'm glad you played with all the input knobs on the tablet so I would know if anything was broken :).
I think I realized why I wasn't seeing the issue on my natty development machine. I had installed a newer version of xserver-xorg-input-wacom, and it behaves differently. This may be a bug in the wacom input module that has been fixed already. With the xorg-server-core package from the ppa installed, please also download and install the Oneiric xserver-xorg-input-wacom package to see if it fixes things.
