Public bug reported:

I essentially have the hardware from ah HP Pavilion Media Center PC
a1540n, with a different hard drive and an ATI Radeon HD 2400XT video
card. The onboard sound was working fine, until I installed the driver
for the video card. Now the video card works and the onboard sound does
not. I have checked in Control Center -> Sound -> Hardware, and the OS
does not even recognize the onboard 3.5mm outputs. They don't show up
at all. The only thing that it recognizes is a digital stereo HDMI
output from my video card. The video card has 2 DVI outputs and an
S-Video output, but no HDMI. I have searched for my MB drivers for
linux, but am unable to find them anywhere.  The speakers still do work;
I tested them on my Mac. I am only running Ubuntu 11.04 on this
computer, so I am unable to test if they work on a different operating
system on the same computer. Thanks for any help!
