One more observation: I have an ATI 4870 graphic card, and I installed fglrx drivers. I just tried open source drivers (I had to restart anyway, as launcher just wouldn't move away, and I wanted to test them), and launcher, for now, works as expected even if I start k3b. Maybe this is something with current fglrx drivers? I'll leave the computer a few hours with these drivers, just to see what will happend.
There is one problem with xorg drivers: with them, the fan on graphic card is so loud, that I can't stand it (it was one of the reasons I switched to fglrx; the other is that I need opengl for work and, of course, games). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/770423 Title: Unity launcher refuses to hide even with a maximized application window open To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/770423/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
