The same problem suddenly also appeared for me today (2011-06-27). I am running on a fully updated Ubuntu 10.10. My last update was 3 days ago, so there should be no problem from this. Rebooting does not help.
The only unusual thing I remember having done before the problem started was to change the configuration of gnome-terminal (allow unlimited back- scroll). So, my guess right now is that gconf somehow got messed up. But, using gconf-editor, I do not find any gconf entries for kgrellm. Should there be some? With the xsession-error messages listed above, I share only "(polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:2269): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed" -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/507859 Title: No longer registers as "dock or panel" in xfce/compiz To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gkrellm/+bug/507859/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
