Thank you for taking the time to file this bug to help make Ubuntu better. Could you please try to boot with quiet and splash off to see if any information that may be helpful comes up while loading? When the LiveCD Menu loads, press "Other Options" (I believe F6) remove "quiet" and "splash" from the boot options then try to boot up. Thanks.
