Public bug reported: Binary package hint: quicksynergy
Info: Server - Windows XP Desktop Client - Ubuntu Feisty Fox on Compaq Presario V620US Laptop Using Broadcom w/ NDISWrapper Once I connect to my server it runs fine for a minute or two, but then it suddenly stops(usually after pasting or right clicking). After investigating a little more, I noticed that my wifi dies as soon as it crashes. The wifi light turns from blue to orange which indicates it's off. Network-manager still looks like it's connected, but I can't connect to any webpages. The server tells me "NOTE: client "alex-laptop" is dead." Quicksynergy doesn't crash, and I can stop it fine. So, I'm not sure how, but quicksynergy is turning off my wifi. ** Affects: quicksynergy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Kills Wifi After Few Minutes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/110015 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
