Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hwdb-client

This crash report showed up after I restarted my computer. It might be a
duplicate of #91948; I did enter non-ascii characters in hwdb once
before I rebooted my machine; but the program did not seem to crash, it
just stalled at the point where the device database is sent to the
ubuntu servers. I could close the window normally, and at that point I
got no error message.
