I am using 10.04 LTS specifically so as not to have to chase upgrades every 6 months. I do not plan to upgrade this machine until perhaps 12.04 LTS is released so I am afraid I cannot confirm if the issue exists in Natty. It does still occur on 10.04 on occasion even with the latest patches installed.
