I have a similar problem, Banshee won't import files with accents. It says the file do not exist although they are on the drive on the specified location displayed correctly on Nautilus.
There's a bug report in Gnome for this but no solution https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=521401 And also a reply in askubuntu for a possible insight on the problem but I couldn't make it work http://askubuntu.com/questions/51533/how-to-convert-a-mac-utf-8-xml-file-into-something-that-banshee-understands/51555#51555 ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #521401 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=521401 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159178 Title: Banshee does not read ID3v2 UTF-8 encoded tags To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/159178/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
