In the terminal log appears:

Setting up cups (1.4.6-5ubuntu1.3) ...
/etc/init.d/cups: 85: start: not found
invoke-rc.d: initscript cups, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing cups (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 127

Seems to be an Upstart issue.

Does CUPS have the appropriate dependencies on Upstart, so that CUPS'
maintainer scripts are only executed if Upstart is ready?
