Public bug reported:

I'm running Oneiric, and currently doing careful partial upgrades to
avoid the /run chaos until it settles down a bit more. This morning, I
upgraded lightdm and lightdm-greeter-example-gtk from 0.4.1-0ubuntu1 to
0.4.3-0ubuntu1, and rebooted. When I clicked on my username in an
attempt to log in, the greeter froze, and there was this line at the end
of /var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log:

WARNING: Unknown message from greeter: 7

Eventually I noticed that I had yet to upgrade liblightdm-gobject-0-0,
which was still at version 0.4.1-0ubuntu1. I upgraded this to
0.4.3-0ubuntu1, stopped and restarted lightdm, and it started working
again.

This should not have been required. If lightdm-greeter-example-gtk
requires a more recent version of liblightdm-gobject-0-0, it should have
an explicit versioned dependency on it.
