Same issue on ASUS G73JW .  ADATA S102 32gb thumb drive writes at 27
MB/s in a USB 2.0 slot but only manages 400 KB/s in the 3.0 slot.    On
Windows partition it can write at over 70 MB/s on the same 3.0 slot.
