Also affects me - I am running a Lenovo Ideapad S12... appeared to hang for a long time on the splashscreen after accepting updates. Rebooted using Alt-SYSRQ-REISUB... tried again. No networking. Wouldn't even scan.
Rebooted with 2.6.32.32 - came straight up. I don't know how to list my wifi and Ethernet cards... all I know is they come as standard on the Ideapad S12 as bought in 2010. Please fix ASAP. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/811508 Title: Upon updating kernel, lost ethernet networking.
