I'm using Natty Narwhal and it looks like only randomly I receive the "safe to remove" notification.
People coming from Windows are used to receiving this information every time they ask for a USB drive to be removed. Lots of people are often puzzled after I remove their flash drives from my computer and the notification doesn't show up, and most of them think I took it out without safely removing it. Is there any config we can do to always display the notification? If this is a design decision, it should be reviewed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/85961 Title: gnome-mount does not consistently display 'safe to remove' message To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-volume-manager/+bug/85961/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
