I get a similar problem.
First the following error message pops up:

Could not install 'f-prot-installer'
The upgrade aborts now. Please report this bug against the 'update-
manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the
bugreport.
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Then the installation continues, but at the end I get
=====
Could not install the upgrades
The upgrade aborts now. Your system could be in an unusable state. A
recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a).
