Created attachment 24788 gcc47-pr49756.patch Untested patch. Clueless people will be still able to construct twice or 4 times as large testcases of similar quality when they really should be using an array, but I guess this can help even with reasonable testcases. The drawback is I think that endless recursion bugs might take much more compile time before they fail.
