Public bug reported: In Gedit Snippets plugin one can specify a shortcut key as a trigger for a snippet. It doesn't work in Gedit 3.1.2
To reproduce: 1) Enable Snippets plugin in Gedit 2) Open a Python file 3) Select a word and press Ctrl+' (or Ctrl+2) 4) Expected result - the word should get surrounded by the ' or ". Currently nothing happens. After checking other snippets I found out that none of shortcuts work as a trigger. However, tab trigger still works as expected. ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/813607 Title: Shortcut key trigger not working in snippets To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/813607/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
