** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

On Natty with Unity gnome-terminal no longer plays sounds for anything.
All other sounds work, it is strictly in gnome-terminal.

  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Open gnome-terminal
  2. type the command: echo -e "\a"

  What happens:
  no sound is played

  What should happen:
  It should play a sound

If you go into the sound settings on the first tab you should be able to
set a sound there is options for glass, bark, default, and so on. no
matter what sound you choose none work
