Thanks,

I have changed the grub file using one set of "" to replace ' ' in
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR="lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian"

Rebooted and installed Zoho. Still got the message which seems related to the
grub line I added with an earlier Ubuntu
i915.modeset=1

This was because on my HP G62 laptop the screen blanked at start up and
this fixed it. I'm reluctant to remove it just now in case it does the
same as I have some pressing work to do.

I have attached a text file with the out put from sudo undate-grub, the
new grub file itself and the output from installing a program that
invokes the error message. Hope this helps.
