Public bug reported: I've entered all information in the GUI to create a vpnc connection. But the connection fails everytime - running /usr/lib/NetworkManager/nm-vpnc-service with VPNC_DEBUG=1 reveals:
Config: IKE DH Group 1 Config: IPSec ID XYZ Config: IPSec gateway XYZ Config: Xauth username XYZ Config: Xauth password XYZ Config: IPSec secret XYZ /usr/sbin/vpnc: IKE DH Group "1" unsupported The manpage for vpnc says: --dh <dh1/dh2/dh5> name of the IKE DH Group Default: dh2 conf-variable: IKE DH Group <dh1/dh2/dh5> Please generate a correct config in network-manager AND please display errors ;) After asking for the password just nothing happens. That's not very userfriendly.. ** Affects: network-manager-vpnc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ike vpnc -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/816944 Title: GUI creates invalid config: IKE DH Group To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-vpnc/+bug/816944/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
