Hi Rogan, I'm looking at your screenshot and I notice (please confirm) that Unity itself doesn't seem affected, the taskbar looks uncorrupted. From looking at the screenshot I have the impression it might be a driver issue rather than a Unity one.
Could you perform these two quick tests to confirm? 1) With the system as shown in your screenshot, press the Windows+a to show the Unity app lens. Is the Unity overlay corrupted in any way? 2) Could you try a classic Ubuntu session (log out, then select Ubuntu classic session while logging in) and try to replicate the behavior while docking? If we determine that it's not related to Unity, we would probably move this to xserver-xorg-video-intel. --- Ubuntu Bug Squad volunteer triager http://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/814721 Title: [Intel i915] Docking with external monitor often corrupts screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/814721/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
