Maybe I have found how to reproduce it constantly. It happens when I log in "Ubuntu" session (instead of Ubuntu-2D) in a system without 3D extension so the system automatically fallback to unity-2d. When I try to close this session there is a long delay, if instead I log directly in Ubuntu-2D the session close correctly and quickly.
