Thank you for giving me a direction. I have added missing ending double qoute and restarted computer and it worked. Then I run command "sudo update-grub" which was written at the begining of the file:
# If you change this file, run 'update-grub' afterwards to update # /boot/grub/grub.cfg. Then I restarted computer for the second time, but now it is frozen. On my screen there is a warning issued by monitor that video mode is not recomended, because it is not 1680x1050 (native mode of my lcd monitor). I am now trying to boot live from cd... I was following steps from the address https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RecoveringUbuntuAfterInstallingWindows and now everything seems to work. Grub menu looks a bit different than earlier.
