The "fix released" in Debian is a sad removal there... I would prefer to
keep it alive and do some testing. Currently I am also working on the
savage driver to which this tool corresponds, therefore I can offer to
test it and maybe even add further fixes. The hardware I have available
contains Savage MX/IX chips on which I can test.
