apport information

** Description changed:

This is another one in my series of bugs encountered in this Sony VPC-F11
Others include: bug #791900 , bug #791904 and bug #791898

Symptoms are that large file transfers over scp stall on my home network
using WPA2 personal. Seems random, but often enough that copying a folder of
music stalled every 5 or 6 songs, and a folder of video, about two or three
times per video.
No other linux machine here has this problem. Admittedly the others are
still on Ubuntu 10.10, but I tested a transfer of 4 gigabytes of data on the
Ubuntu 10.10 laptop with an AR9285 without any issues.

Nothing is reported to dmesg and the problem fixes itself temporarily if I
disconnect/reconnect in network manager or toggle the wifi kill switch.
By toggling the kill switch I was able to successfully copy over 4 gigabytes
of data, with perhaps 15 reconnects.

I was hoping one of the workarounds in bug #761176 would help, but none of
them seemed to do the trick, I get the feeling there were a few problems
reported in that bug, and since it was closed out fixed, filed a new one.
I've tested the 2.6.37 kernel, and 2.6.38 6-10 as well as -11 proposed.

appears to have similar hardware, although I don't know if the problem
  is the same.
