"I have the same bug using Ubuntu 10.10 on an Asus EEE 900 (with the
Celeron processor).

This is just an inconvience/delay to boot time, but I'd rather know how to fix

Same problem same netbook!


When I first update to current version it slowed the boot a little. It has got 
progressively worse and now the computer sits showing the Ubuntu logo for over 
a minute before the O/S shows the task bar.

I also have this poor little deaf or perverse worker who refuses to
accept a message.
