I'm pretty sure it always happens on the fourth press (a fifth press should return to the initial state), when going from laptop screen on and external off to both screens off. If I find it happens at a different point, I'll come back and say.
The crash doesn't always happen, so sometimes I can cycle through all the states several times before it will crash. The attached file shows the output of xrandr before pressing super+p, and for each of the 5 presses it takes to get back to the original state with both screens on at full resolution (when it works). ** Attachment added: "xrandr output through super+p states" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/820375/+attachment/2252285/+files/super-p.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/820375 Title: Lockup when switching video modes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/820375/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
