tabbernuk: I recommend filing a new bug report using https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video- intel/+filebug . While your issue looks similar to this bug report, you are seeing corruption in things that are not glyphs so your issue is different to this one...
