Public bug reported: Sending Unity to suspend and reactivating provides artefacts on screen where the ribbon is (I use a hidden setting, making the bar disappear if not used).
Also the Apple magic mouse does not respond after wakeup. Workaround for issue 1: show the ribbon and hide it again. Workaround for issue 2: turn mouse of and on to reconnect via bluetooth. However the calibration of the mouse is not correct (approx. 20 pixels y and 50 pixels x) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: xorg 1:7.6+4ubuntu3.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-11.48-generic 2.6.38.8 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-11-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: wl nvidia Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Aug 4 18:52:44 2011 DistroCodename: natty DistroVariant: ubuntu InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release amd64+mac (20101008) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB:en LANG=de_AT.UTF-8 LC_MESSAGES=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: xorg Symptom: display UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to natty on 2011-04-30 (96 days ago) ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug corruption natty running-unity ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/821022 Title: Unity wakeup from suspend corrupts screen and deactivates mouse To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/821022/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
