I think this bug together with - Bug #755842 (Non-maximized windows which sit on the border of a workspace move when called) - Bug #762001 (Maximizing/unmaximizing a window by double clicking the title-bar shifts the window towards right) - Bug #751858 (Unity messes up geometry calculations) (all of these bugs cause somewhat windows overlapping workspaces) makes users run into the following bugs:
