Public bug reported:

For an application has multiple windows, navigation to one of the
windows by clicking the application icon on the applet is buggy. When
the mouse is moved to select the window from the list of windows the
menu auto-hides making it impossible to select. This happens only when
there is another active window. This does not happen when the same is
tried from the desktop with all other windows minimized. In Awn, the
intelli-hide is turned on.
