Sorry, I forgot about it. Before uninstalling nvidia-current: something about GLX missing After uninstalling nvidia-current:
OpenGL vendor string: Tungsten Graphics, Inc OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) Sandybridge Mobile GEM 20100330 DEVELOPMENT OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.10.2 Not software rendered: yes Not blacklisted: yes GLX fbconfig: yes GLX texture from pixmap: yes GL npot or rect textures: yes GL vertex program: yes GL fragment program: yes GL vertex buffer object: yes GL framebuffer object: yes GL version is 1.4+: yes Unity supported: yes Also after the update and BEFORE reboot OpenGL stopped working in Java (I'm developing OpenGL game in Java right now). After reboot Unity wasn't working too. Maybe the solution would be putting older version of nvidia drivers until the bug is resolved (if others have the same problem with them)? The update I installed almost certainly had new version of nvidia- current and probably of Java (I've seen iced tea in there). It was the first update I did in a month though, so I don't know how long the problem was there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/822539 Title: Unity stopped working after update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/822539/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
