I would assume this to be the case as QT and GTK apps configure fonts differently. Could you post an example .fonts.conf file and peopose what you beleive developers should do to correct this issue. As well, no version information was submitted to the bug. Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal: apport-collect BUGNUMBER When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected.
