OK - for some reason, nv can recognize my screen a lot better now than when I
upgraded to herd 5. WIth the sync lines HASHED I get lots of resolutions (plus
the undesireable "virtual screen size" of 1280x1024)
In System -> Preferences -> Screen Resolution with NO sync values, my choices
are these: 1280x1024 1024x768 800x600 600x480 1280x960 1280x800 1280 x768
1152x768 832x624

Rebooting with the new sync values gives the exact same options
I'm also going to attach my xorg.conf just incase there's something messed up
with it.
