Dear Soren, I scann my own negatives at Nikon scanners and save them as .nef files which is native to Nikon. The file sizes are around 130mbs. I do not know if i can get a smaller size but i will let you know as soon as i get my linux up and running again. If there is a way to transfer such big files to you please also let me know. I would love to help.
