Actually that's wrong - I needed to do a "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade", and after doing that the problem is "almost" solved! (by the way, how can I find out and report what version of unity I'm running now?)
Super + A (or Super + F) does actually work now, but I have to make sure I hold the Super key for at least (about) 1 second - otherwise the dash flashed quickly and disappears. Thanks for the help so far (I just hope this daily version of Unity 2D doesn't have more bugs than before...I guess I can just ppa-purge if I want to go back to the old version?) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/811406 Title: Shortcuts to Applications and Files lenses don't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-2d/+bug/811406/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
