Binary package hint: xsane

After launching xsane, the scanner was not shown in the list of devices.
After disconnecting and reconnecting the electric power, the scanner was
shown in the list of devices, after having started xsane again. My
scanner,epson perfection 3490, is shown twice: as snapscan device and as
epkowa device. When I choose snapscan, xsane crashes after a while,
epkowa works rather good, but I can not make a preview scan. Kooka and
iscan are ok. Greetings, Thomas
