Scratch that last transmission. I got my bugs mixed up with a problem I have in Lucid. This is a bug in Natty so I will follow your instructions and see if I can duplicate this bug in Oneiric

I have Natty installed in addition to Lucid. This bug only occurs in Lucid. I found that the problem occurs only when I load the Network Manager applet during startup. If I do not load this applet during startup there is no problem. I can load it after startup and there is no logout issue. So it would seem that this bug may have in fact been fixed in Natty.
