Public bug reported:
The plymouth-Package (and his plymouth*-dependencies) does not contain the font
deja-vu-sans-Font. The file is in ttf-dejavu-core, but is no dependency of
plymouth (but of vlc).
So, if you install a ubuntu without vlc (e.g. because of own packaging),
plymouth will show no messages on bootup, but little little boxes instead of
characters.
This bug is around since lucid (plymouth 0.8.2-2ubuntu2)
