Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdepim

This seemed to be a case of Kontact barfing whilst viewing threaded IMAP
mail - something I encounter frequently, and something I've seen listed
as a long term bug of Kmail in the past. I trigger this frequently, and
believe it typically occurs when I attempt to view a new message whilst
deletions of other messages are in progress.
