Public bug reported: Basicly bug #399132 seems to still be happening an oneiric with the latest kernel. With it, DV6 (my particular device is HP Pavilion DV6-6042eo) has it's fan on always, even on the the most passive of uses, and occassionally, even without the temperature sensors showing any heating, the fan goes on high speed. This makes a lot of noise and also consumes much more of the battery than sane fan use would.
